Holger Rune’s Dating Shenanigans Go Viral After Fan Exposes His Raya Profile Page

Holger Rune may have a whole team of professionals by his side, but he’s still looking for a special someone. Although he has the support of his family, as well as rumored girlfriend Caroline Donzella, an eagle-eyed fan found something interesting. The Danish tennis player has been found on a popular dating app! A Twitter user shared how his friend found the 21-year-old in real time on Raya, a private, membership-based application, and shared a video of his profile. Along with that, they wrote, “My friend found Holger on Raya (confirmed not fake).” In the profile, there were some pictures of him on the tennis court in action.

If the video is paused, “Pro tennis player, Around the world” can be found written on Rune’s profile. Subsequently, while he is on Raya, he clearly mentions that he’s there to find friends. While Raya was originally launched as a dating app for A-listers, where a lot of celebrities make their profile to find their perfect match, it has since expanded to promote professional networking and social discovery.

Even though Rune likes to keep his love life private, he was last reported to be dating fashion model Caroline Donzella, beginning in mid-2023. But apart from Rune, another famous name from tennis has been spotted on Raya.

Venus Williams was seen looking for love on the A-list dating app last year when visiting the UK following Wimbledon. On the celebrity app, she posted a photo with her dog, disclosing that she was “visiting London from Palm Beach Gardens,” her Florida base. On the other hand, her profile had multiple gorgeous pictures of her, one with her Havanese dog, Harry, and another in her tennis whites. However, not only that, another ATP star, Taylor Fritz, found his love of life, Morgan Riddle, on the same app.

Even Taylor Fritz met Margan Riddle on Raya
The couple is believed to have been together since June 2020, with Morgan Riddle being Taylor Fritz’s biggest supporter. They connected through the premium dating app, which was introduced in 2015 and is well-known for its user base of celebrities.

Riddle had reportedly just moved to LA when COVID-19 hit, so she signed up on the app to connect with people. “Because it was during Covid, no restaurants were open, no bars were open so we ordered sushi,” Riddle told PEOPLE. “We went to his place and I made him watch Midsommar with me, the really messed up horror movie. Why I chose that as my first introduction to a guy, I don’t really know. I think I traumatized him a little bit.”

Apparently, it takes a referral from an existing member to become a new member on Raya. Though there is a lot of talk about Raya, most users would rather keep their membership a secret, which adds to the platform’s enigmatic charm. While a lot of celebrities look out for love on the app, Rune has his preferences set for finding friends, leaving tennis fans in curiosity.
