Both Muray and Evans had to save all five match points to secure a thumping 2-6,7-6(5),11-9 victory over the Japanese duo. And Murray’s mother, Judy, couldn’t control her emotions after seeing that epic comeback!

The proud mum was spotted having a sigh of relief with his son and giving him a tight hug for his incredible fight till the very last moment of that match. Just imagine there was a point in the match when Nishikori and Daniels went off to a 9-4 lead in the first-to-10-set battle! Man, if only pulling out the victory from the jaws of a defeat, had a better example. This is surely gonna be one of the greatest comebacks in not just Andy Murray’s career but in the history of this mega event.

He won the gold medal in the singles event in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics. Apart from that, he also won the silver medal in the mixed doubles in London.
