Jordan Spieth gets brutally honest about LIV Golf situation

Jordan Spieth has had a lot on his plate the past few months after he replaced Rory McIlroy on the PGA Tour’s policy board amid talks of an alliance with LIV Golf while welcoming a new child to his family and balancing his professional golf career. And it sounds like he’s ready for the whole situation to be over.

During a recent interview session with reporters, Jordan Spieth made it clear that while he thinks that he has “done a pretty good job” at handling the entire situation, he acknowledges that it has been a struggle and he’s ready for it to be over.

“I think I’ve done a pretty good job in balancing everything,” Spieth told reporters after round one of the Valspar Championship, according to Golf Magic.
“But it doesn’t mean that anything’s getting full attention. So that’s okay right now, it’s just a blip in time.

“Everything that I think I’m doing I think is doing the right thing. So I’m ready to come out the other side and take care of that and we’ll get there.” Spieth has been a part of talks with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund – which backs LIV Golf – that could help unify professional golf.

It’s a tough job with some important meetings and conversations, but it sounds like Spieth is ready for it all to conclude.
