Although Austin Butler did not win an Oscar, he appears to be doing well. The 31-year-old actor, known for his role as Elvis Presley in the film of the same name, was spotted enjoying a romantic getaway with his girlfriend Kaia Gerber in Los Cabos, Mexico earlier this week. This comes after a back-and-forth awards season battle with Brendan Fraser, who ultimately won the Best Actor Academy Award.
During their tropical vacation, Butler and Gerber were seen lounging in bathing suits and sharing kisses. They also had reading materials on hand and were later seen traveling around the resort in a golf cart for an outdoor meal. Butler sported a white shirt, off-white pants, and black sneakers with a black ballcap, while Gerber wore a brown tie-piece swimsuit and a patterned long-sleeved gown with black sunglasses.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in December 2021 when they were spotted together at a yoga class in Los Angeles. Since then, they have attended high-profile events such as the Met Gala and the Cannes premiere of Elvis. Gerber has previously been linked to actor Jacob Elordi and comedian Pete Davidson, while Butler was previously in a long-term relationship with actress Vanessa Hudgens and has also been linked to Olivia DeJonge and Lily-Rose Depp.
