Max Homa seeks fresh strategy with Spieth’s caddie during injury break

Jordan Spieth’s caddie, Michael Greller, will join forces with Max Homa this week at The Sentry. Spieth has been out for a while with a hand injury, but his determination to return seems stronger than anything at this point.
Jordan Spieth’s fan account, Spieth Legion, confirmed that Greller will be helping Homa out this week, but it will only be temporary. The 34-year-old needed someone to replace his caddie, Joe Greiner, and Spieth’s caddie was chosen. We’ll see how the partnership works out for the two.

“Michael Greller has a new bag this week. He’s caddying for Max Homa at The Sentry. It’s just temporary. Greller’s boss, Jordan Spieth, isn’t in the field, and Homa needed a temporary fill-in. His longtime caddie, Joe Greiner, is expected to return later in the West Coast swing.”- they wrote. Spieth and his caddy have been forming a partnership for years, and working together they have achieved great success on the golf scene. Jordan Spieth has been inconsistent in recent years, but he intends to change that in the coming period. It will be interesting to see how the partnership between Hom and Greller will play out and whether Max has the potential to make a big result at this point.

Jordan Spieth’s injury and recovery
Regarding Spieth’s injury, he stressed in a media interview that things are going as he had planned. The American golfer has already started hitting the ball, and many things are working in his favor. “Everything’s gone according to plan,” he said. “I’ve been kind of hitting on a ball count the last couple weeks and then I got the full go this last weekend. The weather’s been good here in Dallas, I’ve been at it the last, well, really, I hit Nerf balls for a while so I could work on some mechanics and not have the contact. We look forward to his return soon, with the wish for Jordan to record great results in 2025.
