Watch: LPGA highlights Lydia Ko’s remarkable redemption after 2023 slump
The LPGA Tour this week shared a video highlighting the incredible resurgence of Lydia Ko in 2024 after her struggles in 2023. In 2024, Lydia Ko was phenomenal, winning three tournaments and becoming the youngest golfer to be inducted into the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame at the age of 27. However, the Kiwi golfer had some tough times the year before. as she had only two finishes in the top 10, from 20 starts.
The LPGA Tour shared a video highlighting her incredible season, writing:

Notably, Ko had a successful season in 2022 too, winning three tournaments.
Lydia Ko started her 2024 season with a victory at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. She was very close to earning the Hall of Fame induction at the LPGA Drive On Championship, but she struggled in the last round and settled for second place. She was finally inducted into the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame after winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
A look back at Lydia Ko’s performances in the 2024 LPGA season
Ko started the campaign with a win at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and then finished runner-up at the LPGA Drive On Championship. In 2024, she played in 20 tournaments and made the cut in 18 of them.
She had three tournament victories this season and a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. She won a Major championship too, at the AIG Women’s Open and then clinched victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship. Ko wrapped up the 2024 season with a third-place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
