“Just an incredible vibe”- Brooke Henderson relishing playing golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Brooke Henderson is in Paris, France to represent Team Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics. On August 7th, Henderson played her first round at the Le Golf National, after which she detailed her experience of playing at the Olympic Games for the very first time in her career.

In a media interaction after round 1 of the women’s golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Henderson spoke about the vibe of the event. She further highlighted an aspect that she believes is great for the sport of golf. The 13-time LPGA Tour winner said:

After round 1 at Le Golf National, Brooke Henderson currently finds herself tied for 30th place along with the likes of Nanna Koerstz Madsen, Linn Grant, Wei-Ling Hsu, Georgia Hall, and Pia Babnik. Henderson scored 2-over to reach this position.Her Canadian teammate Alena Sharp, on the other hand, finds herself in the top 10 after the first round. Sharp carded 1-under to be tied for 7th place along with Celine Borge, Xiyu Lin, Diksha Dagar, Minjee Lee, and Miyu Yamashita.
