“Sh**” – Jordan Spieth has a hot mic moment at The Open Championship
American golfer Jordan Spieth had a candid moment with a mic after hitting a shot during the second round of The Open Championship on Friday, July 19. The former Masters winner, competing at the ongoing Major in Royal Troon, hit a shot that perhaps did not meet his expectations and was heard expressing his feelings just after.
As Spieth followed through after hitting the ball off the tee, he exclaimed, “S***”, in what looked like disappointment at the shot. A golf fan shared a video of the moment on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Can Jordan Spieth win The Open Championship 2024?

At Royal Troon this week, many of the top-ranked golfers, including Rory McIlroy, struggled with their game, but Spieth managed to have a decent start and is playing above the projected cutline of +4.Spieth has won The Open Championship in the past and given his history at the Major, could also play well enough to win it in 2024. He played at Royal Troon in 2016 when the tournament was held there and tied for 30th place.
The following year, he went on to win the Major. Spieth has an impressive record at The Open, with five top-10 finishes. So far, he has played in the Major ten times and has not missed a single cut.
