AKRON, Oh. (WMTV) – Edgerton-native Steve Stricker is in second place after round two of the Kaulig Companies Championship at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Stricker is -6 after round two. He trails New Zealander Steven Alker, who leads at -7.
Stricker was tied for first after the first round. Madison-native Jerry Kelly rocketed up 21 spots to be tied for fifth at -3 with K.J. Choi and Ángel Cabrera. Both Kelly and Stricker have won this event twice, with Stricker being the defending champion.
