Rafael Nadal makes a huge announcement

Rafael Nadal is still busy in Mallorca where he is preparing with great intensity for the Paris Olympics but he does not forget his business. As we know, the Spaniard has an academy that bears his name on his native island but we also know that he opens others in other countries to promote tennis all over the world.
The last academy that will be inaugurated under the name of the Rafa Nadal Academy will be in a country that no one expects: Albania. Rafa Nadal and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama confirmed this after the meeting at which the agreement was finalized.
The complex will be opened in the coastal town of Durres and will follow the strict methodology and ethics of all the centers of the champion in the 22 Grand Slam titles. The Rafa Nadal Sports Center in Albania will include 12 tennis courts, 6 padel courts, a multi-sport field, a gym and wellness, a swimming pool and a restaurant.
It will also have a shop and a museum where will be exposed some of the trophies of Rafa Nadal as well as objects offered by great sportsmen.
Rafael Nadal is training in Mallorca
Rafael Nadal and his entire team are absolutely delighted with this project as communicated in the official account of the Rafa Nadal Academy: “We are pleased to announce a new destination as part of our international expansion.
We will open a Rafa Nadal sports center in Albania! Vamos!”
Nadal was confirmed by the Spanish captain, David Ferrer, as one of the members of the list of tennis players who will travel to France in the coming weeks to try to repeat the feats already achieved in Beijing 2008 and in Rio 2016 when he won gold in singles and then in doubles.
Nadal will play ATP 250 Bastad a week before the Olympic event to be played on clay, a tournament where the Spanish will try to add competitive pace that allows him to regain confidence and automatisms to compete at the highest level.
