It started in heartbreak with a bizarre rules infraction that cost her a second major at the ANA Inspiration but ended in triumph when she won the season-long Race to the CME Globe and its accompanying $1 million bonus prize. Asked how she was going to spend the money, she didn’t hesitate: She’s going car shopping.
“I’ll be going very soon,” she said.
It only took her a few weeks. Her indulgence? A Nissan GT-R, which has a starting MSRP of $109,990.
