During an interview, Evert revealed what went through while raising her three sons. She said, “It’s, um, an active household but I think I was meant to be a mother of boys. They’re not high maintenance. They don’t fight over flowery dresses. They have one favorite T-shirt and a favorite pair of pants, and that’s it. If I had a little Chrissie, I’d be too critical.”

Alexander is Evert’s eldest son and was born in 1991. Three years later, Evert gave birth to her second child, Nicholas. Colton is the youngest of all, born in 1996.

Evert turned pro in 1972 and had instant success in her career. She made a trio of Grand Slam final appearances before finally winning her maiden Grand Slam singles title at the French Open in 1974. The tournament has been one of the most successful events for Evert, winning it seven times.
