Among this heartbreaking news, the Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev has declared to see Murray as an ‘admiration’ for himself.

 

 

After losing 6 out of his last 8 matches, Murray’s fans are now disappointed with his recent announcement. But Daniil Medvedev’s recent comment gave a glimmer of hope to them. He hinted at a potential extension, saying he’s not sure if Muzza’s incredible journey gonna stop this year.

Medvedev said Murray is a fun guy and a great person to be around. “For sure he’s an admiration of mine because I remember when I was just going up the rankings, that’s the moment when he was winning Slams,” Medvedev. Talking about his recent announcement, the Russian said, “It’s going to be sad when he retires. Even I’m definitely not sure that he’s going to stop this year.“

 

 

The world number 4 went on to add, “Wimbledon is a big tournament, maybe Wimbledon and then stop. But while he’s here, it’s going to be fun. [When] he’s not here, I’m sure he’s going to find a good spot in his life after tennis.” Who knows when Andy Murray is going to make his call finally? During a recent podcast at the ‘Advantage Connors‘, he stated that if Andy Murray is still enjoying the sport and didn’t mind the travelling and hectic schedules attached to it. There was no reason for him to hang up his boots.

“There’s only one guy who’s going to know when it’s time for Andy Murray to stop and that’s him,” Connors. He reminded the tennis world of his incredible journey and asked them to leave it up to him to decide. “Everybody gets older, but you remember him for all the great things that he did, all the Wimbledons and Olympic medal and things like that, and let him worry about how he wants to go out.”
